Well, at Quiet Lawn, our team is. While we have to post the minimum hourly rate on this ad, the truth is that the majority of our team members earn 20-50% higher than their hourly rate. That’s because we pay our highly trained, professional technicians based on how much revenue they produce and how much work they get done. The more you produce and the harder you work, the more you make. That’s how it should be everywhere, right???

Lawn care is hard work and we believe you should be paid well for your efforts. Aside from the great pay (for hard workers), we also pay bonuses, provide snacks and drinks, have fun get togethers throughout the year like going bowling or going to Night of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens, and we take company paid trips to various industry conferences where we get to learn and have fun too. 

Now, all of that is great and we have a lot more to offer, but let’s talk about the reality of this position. Lawn care and landscaping is hard work and not for everyone. The weather here during the summer is HOT and the work is physical. And, while we have a pretty consistent work schedule 95% of the time, the weather does play a big part and can occasionally require us to work on Satudays. While this is unpredictable, it typically only happens once or twice a year. 

Let’s talk about some of the positives. If you’re self motivated and don’t like having a boss over your shoulder every minute, you’ll love working with us. Each day, you’ll be given a list of jobs to complete by yourself and you’ll have a lot of freedom that you don’t get at other jobs. Want to listen to audiobooks while you work or meet your significant other for lunch one day, you control your schedule. As long as you’re getting your work done within the budgeted time and doing quality work, the rest is up to you. While I could go on forever about the positives, here’s a short list.

Who is Quiet Lawn?

Quiet Lawn is a unique lawn care service that uses battery powered equipment, the latest software solutions, and great customer service to deliver a cleaner, quieter, and better experience to our customers and employees. We currently offer mowing, lawn treatments, mulch installation, tree & shrub trimming, Christmas light installation during the winter, and we will soon offer pest control. 

How did we start and where are we going?

Quiet Lawn was started in 2017 as a one man show and has since grown to 10+ team members with more being added each year. We are growing 50%+ each year on average. Our main location that you will be working from will be our new shop that is being built in Longs, SC. We are also starting a second location in the Murrells Inlet area this year and our plan is to open many more locations over the next 5-10 years in places like Wilmington, Charleston, Columbia, Savannah, and eventually Florida. This growth will create lots of opportunities for positions like lawn technicians, general managers, trainers, sales positions, and more.

After 90 Days

After 180 Days

  • Christmas Bonus: Full Christmas Bonus
  • Guaranteed Winter Hours: Full-Time EmployeeS – December 15th to February 28th

After 1 Year

  • 1 Week Paid Vacation (40 Hours at Base Pay)- Increases to 2 weeks after 3 years of full-time employment.

*Must be employed full-time for the previous 6 months to qualify for guaranteed winter hours.
