What goes into your lawn?

We all want a lawn that looks fresh and keeps those bothersome pests away. But the lawn care job that goes behind in maintaining a lawn like that can often be a long process, especially due to the kind of dry weather we have here in Little River, South Carolina. Even longer, if you don’t fertilize your lawn at regular intervals. Homeowners, especially those who are customers of our Weed Control and Fertilization Program, are often curious as to what products that go into the process of maintaining a healthy, fresh looking and pest free lawn for them. Today, we are going to look at all the organic-based products that we use and what each of them accomplishes.

The Products

We use some very cool, soil improving products from Greene County Fertilizers that are on the cutting edge of advancements in the lawn care industry. Some of the products we use in we treat your lawn include:

  • N-Ext N-Charge™ Fertilizer
  • N-Ext RGS™ Soil & Plant Formula
  • N-Ext Humic12™ Liquid Humic Acid
  • Weed & Insect Control Treatment

N-Ext N-Charge™ Fertilizer

The grass in our climate here in areas like North Mrtyle Beach, Longs and Little River, needs an abundance of nutrients to thrive, and nitrogen is the most important source of that nutrient. An easy way to supply your lawn with nitrogen is to apply fertilizers or mulches that are rich in nitrogen to support your grass’s healthy growth. The N-Ext N-Charge™ Fertilizer is nitrogen with a kick. Liquid nitrogen sources are blended with lignin and carbon compounds to create a highly stable, looser bonded liquid nitrogen that can be blended up or down and exactly provide the amount of nitrogen that is needed for a healthy lawn.

N-Ext RGS™ Soil & Plant Formula

Increasing Grass root growth deep into the soil is one of the greatest factors that help extend grass life and shortens the process of maintaining a fresh lawn. It also increases the efficiency of nitrogen uptake. The N-Ext RGS™ is designed to increase rooting and decrease stress pressure caused by heat and drought like environment that’s caused by the hot climate of South Carolina. The biologically active material contains Humic Acid and Sea Kelp to aid in initial spring green-up, to buffer and extend nitrogen release rates, and to add oxygen to the soil profile for greater nutrient uptake.

Additionally, the benefits of using N-Ext Humic12™ in your program are:

  • Increased Root Growth
  • Increased Chlorophyll Content
  • Increased Nutrient Uptake
  • Improved Soil Structure
  • Improved Water Retention
  • Improved Plant Quality!

To Simplify…

The organic fertilizers that Team Quiet Lawn will use on your lawn, will break down and improve the structure of your soil while increasing its ability to hold water and nutrients for a longer time. Over time, our treatment will make your soil–and plants–healthy and strong which will promote healthy root growth and healthier turf, leading to fewer weeds and diseases. Our use of organic products also eliminates the risk of toxic buildups of chemicals and salts that can be deadly to plants!
